JAFA has established a professional relationship with companies in and beyond the Intelligent Transportation Systems and Electronic Toll & Transportation Management industries. In addition to active participation in industry professional organizations as speakers and facilitators, we have worked with companies in Joint Ventures and as Team Members. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of companies in a competitive environment, we have been selected by (and have sought out) companies and technologies that would offer a myriad of solutions to customers. Companies within the industry that have worked with us in various arrangements have included InTranS, Transport Data Systems, TransCore, MCI ETC, Viasys, SIRIT, Atkins, Law Enforcement Systems, Globecomm Systems, Accenture, Experian, Touch Technologies, Inc., ASCOM, JAI-Pulnix, EFKON AG, Aecom, Cubic, Conduent, Gannett Fleming, HDR, Jacobs Engineering.

JAFA performed the toll collection systems integration, project management, and installation in a federally funded pilot program in Orlando, Florida, on behalf of EFKON AG, an Austrian-based Toll Collection Systems and InfraRed (IR) technology provider. The program evaluated Smart Card use in intermodal applications including parking, toll collection, and mass transit. The ETC segment included eight electronic toll lanes using infrared transponders, receivers, and Smart Cards.
